Netweb's revenue more than quadruples as AI server sales surge
The Faridabad-based maker of servers and supercomputers reported revenue of ₹1,323 crore for July–September, with AI systems accounting for 58.4 percent.
Netweb Technologies India reported revenue from operations of ₹1,323.3 crore for the July–September quarter, up 335.7 percent from ₹303.7 crore a year earlier, according to a press release the company filed with the stock exchanges on Saturday, 24 October. The company, which designs and manufactures servers, supercomputers and other high-end computing systems, called it its highest-ever quarter for both revenue and profit.
Net profit rose 334.8 percent from a year earlier to ₹136.7 crore. Operating EBITDA was ₹197.3 crore, a margin of 14.9 percent. Compared with the April–June quarter, revenue rose 61.4 percent and profit 60.2 percent.
Most of the growth came from AI hardware. Revenue from AI systems was ₹773.1 crore in the quarter, 58.4 percent of the total and up 1,068.1 percent from a year earlier. High-performance computing contributed ₹248.2 crore and private cloud ₹244.8 crore.
Profit for the first half of the financial year was ₹222 crore, already more than the ₹205.8 crore Netweb earned in the whole of FY26, chairman and managing director Sanjay Lodha said in the release.
As of 30 September, the company had an order book of ₹2,629 crore, plus ₹652.5 crore of bids in which it was the lowest bidder. It put its pipeline of active business opportunities at ₹11,151.8 crore. Netweb also raised ₹1,200 crore during the quarter, its first capital raise since it listed on the BSE and NSE in July 2023.
Lodha said demand for AI computing, GPU-intensive infrastructure and sovereign computing capacity was creating opportunities across government institutions, enterprises, cloud service providers and data-centre operators, CNBC-TV18 reported. The company also pointed to the National Supercomputing Mission 2.0, which places greater emphasis on designing and building computing systems in India.
Netweb’s shares closed 5.6 percent lower at ₹4,335.80 on the NSE on Friday, before the results were announced, according to CNBC-TV18. The stock had gained 41.2 percent so far this year.
